Waterboarding

video

As I arrive just a few minutes late to the protest all I can see is madness. some people are moving toward the White House, while others crowd around the water-boarding demonstration in Lafayette Park.

Accusations made by the protestors are quite extreme but they do get there point across; unfortunately they get the police's attention too.

They keep the crowd around there demonstration even through all of the rain and wind, and as heat picks up right in front of the white house the protestors decide it is time to move.

As protestors move, the police become more aggressive.

More police ride from the park to the crowd coming from the White House.

When they arrive most are unhappy others seem just bored, but there is a van full of pepper spray just in case the protest goes wrong.

Using horses police effortlessly round up the crowd like cattle, but they still march on the park.

As the crowd gets pushed together they start to walk around the horses and police. Police use what might seem as excessive force, many move out of the way, but one lady is taken out.

Riding strait through the crowd I have to jump to the side to avoid being taken out and protestors have to do the same.

After being broken up by the police, the protestors slowly disassemble

Just hours later the metro station feels unchanged from the events of the day...
